We found Hanbury when it was the start of the pandemic, back in April 2020. What was initially a really stressful time to plan our wedding, became super easy and exciting when I found Hanbury online. The venue at the time was still very new, but we knew as soon as we spoke to Adrian and visited it, that it was the perfect venue for us. The team at Hanbury are so attentive, the cost of venue hire compared to others is incredible value for money. The flexibility the venue provides (we had three occasions in one day, both for Indian and Irish cultures!), its beautful grounds, the fact that we had constant engagement with Hanbury throughout the planning process and that we had Adrian, as well as two other members of staff to help make sure the day ran smoothly was fantastic. I’d also say any Indian couples who are looking for something different should definitely consider this venue, you won’t regret it! I just can’t tell you enough how grateful we are and how special this place truly is. Thank you Hanbury and Adrian xxxx

Adrian and the team at Hanbury Wedding Barn made our wedding. It was the greatest day, and this was in large part due to the venue and staff. Not only is it picture perfect, designed to make the day roll with out a hitch but the staff took care of everything. They anticipated our needs, helped us plan, made sure we ran to time, paid attention to the little details, listened to us and made our dreams a reality. My wife and I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

We couldn’t recommend Hanbury Wedding Barn enough. We got married there nearly two months ago and from the minute we inquired about the venue and went to view it, Adrian and Emma were absolutely wonderful in accommodating us and giving us enough time to make a decision without being pressured. The whole planning process up to the wedding was done absolutely professionally and put us at ease the whole time. The venue itself is absolutely huge and has heaps of character and beauty everywhere you look. We had access to entire area and as a result a choice of where to have our ceremony – between two spacious and beautiful rooms or using the gorgeous outside ceremony area (which was by far the winner for us, just dependent on good weather). As well as this we had access to the field behind which made for beautiful twilight photos.The price we got the venue for was a complete steal, so much so that I remember us pressing about booking the venue with them as quickly as possible as we just didn’t want to lose it! The final weeks before the wedding Emma was an absolute powerhouse in keeping things updated and scheduled in detail for us, so we were completely put at ease that when it came to our big day. Absolutely everything was in it’s place and it ran smoothly. Considering it was a covid wedding of 30 people in attendance, there were restrictions in place that we had to follow, however we genuinely didn’t notice the difference after a while as the aura and atmosphere throughout the day was just brilliant. Every single guest that spoke to us about the venue on the day was blown away by the beauty and character of the place, and even more shocked when we mentioned the price we got it for! I can see this venue being very hard to hold down as time goes by and word spreads, so if you can tie this place down for your big day I would say do so as soon as you possibly can!

The best in the business! After our recent wedding at Hanbury we can honestly say we’d pick this venue again and again. From our first ever contact with Hanbury, they have been professional, responsive yet friendly and approachable. The barns are stunning and finished to the highest standard – every small detail has been thought about. Adrian and his team have been so helpful with the ever changing restrictions and nothing has been too much trouble for them. We feel like we’ve come away as not only Husband and Wife but also with friends for life – thank you for making our day so special!

Hanbury wedding barns were absolutely incredible during our wedding day. They answered every single email I sent very quickly and helped us every step of the way to plan and prepare for our wedding. Even during Covid times they made it beautiful. Adrian and Emma were there with us the entire day, from welcoming guests to dispatching bridesmaids, helping with zoom, organising the room and much much more. They made sure our day went smoothly with no troubles at all and did it all with such a friendly warm attitude. The venue is beautiful and everything we could of wishes for. They always went the extra mile, even opening up the gateway to a near by field and trekking through the grass with us so our photographer could get some nice pictures. Adrian even managed to snap some lovely photos of our ceremony himself which was so special. I can’t say enough good things about this venue and the people. The family owners have been so flexible with our changing dates and last minute changes I can’t thank them enough. They bought some calm and comfort into what could of been a very stressful time with covid restrictions. Thank you so much Hanbury wedding barns. Words can’t express our gratitude, admiration and respect for Hanbury Wedding Barn! The team went out of their way to make our Lockdown Wedding memorable. From constant communication regarding Government updates to a breathtaking Venue, Hanbury Wedding Barn is one of the best places to get married. We fell in love with it instantly and never thought twice about booking it. The team were flexible and always on the other end of the phone/email whenever we had a query. We are proud to have had the first Hindu Wedding Ceremony there and wish Adrian & the team all the best for the future.

We married here in 2nd November 2020, on what was our 4th date! With just 24 hours notice, we pulled our wedding forward from 7th November.

The Barns are stunning, and on our first visit, we knew we had found our rustic wedding venue, even while still being built! The barns have been finished just beautifully, and even from early on, it was easy to see what a gorgeous venue this was to become! Flooded with natural light, it is a dream for photo’s! Having 3 separate rooms makes the day seamless! The bridal suite is just stunning and feels effortlessly luxurious! Attention has clearly been paid to the smallest of details, with only the best bulbs to light the make-up station, to the USB plug sockets, allowing for phone charging while hair tools can still be used.

It is easy to see that Hanbury Wedding Barn is a truly beautiful venue, for us, it was the team that puts this venue head & shoulders above all the others we saw. Adrian is so warm and welcoming. Extremely encouraging and effortless to work with. Always available on the other end of the phone to bounce idea’s of, not to mention how open he was to any idea we through his way! His positivity in what was a difficult time is truly infectious and we always felt as though nothing was too much, every detail of our day was as important to him as it was to us.
The entire family and team have been truly exceptional from start to finish, and if we had the choice again, we would choose Hanbury over again! You can definitely feel that this is a family business.

Faye and Will – 2nd of November 2020

We got married here on Monday, and we could not have asked for a more perfect day. Adrian made sure everything was organised exactly as we had wanted it, kept the day moving, and ensured all of our guests were happy. He made sure that every detail was covered and ran everything past us. He checked on us all day, and honestly could have been a better organiser. The venue itself, is beautiful. The inside of all of their rooms it is kept quite rustic but minimalist, with exposed beams, plenty of natural sunlight and only neural colours, allowing us to chose what colour theme we wanted without worrying about it clashing. They have kept a few of the original parts of the barn which really adds to the character of the place. When it came to decorating Adrian was very helpful and not restrictive of what we wanted, we always found way to put things up in a way that suited us both, and Adrian even spent a lot of the day before up a ladder moving flower garlands an inch to the left or right to help us get it exactly right! We couldn’t have asked for more… We were very lucky with the weather but the little bit of water was a gorgeous back drop to almost all of our photos. The courtyard was great place for everyone to mingle, and with the folding doors open in the evening, it allowed everyone so much freedom. The Bridal party arrived early to get ready in their gorgeous preparation room. We got married in their ceremony room which, then followed outside for drinks served by the Hanbury Team, then finally onto dinner in the Main Hall, where we later had music and dancing. The layout of the venue allows for everything to flow so easily, with no awkward waiting with nowhere to go.. There was always somewhere to be and explore, with their gardens just starting to take life; I don’t doubt when it is fully complete and as imagined, it will be an absolutely gorgeous place to see. The bar is so reasonably priced, and there was always plenty of team available to cater to all our guests requests. We had a range of guests, from babies and young ones who wanted to explore, to elderly guests that required wheelchair access and a little extra care, even to our dog; everyone was catered for! A member of the Hanbury Team even blew bubbles in the courtyard with one of one younger guests allowing his parents to enjoy their meal while watching their little one play safely. We chose to go with Grazing Platters, a caterer recommended by Hanbury Wedding Barns, and it looked absolutely fantastic. All of our guests were so impressed with the range of items and how gorgeous it all looked. They also catered with vegetarian, vegan and no pork requests and gave us full confidence that all of this had been sorted. We really couldn’t have asked for more on our big day and wish all the success in the world to Adrian, Kirsty and their Team at Hanbury Wedding Barns. They make your experience so personal yet professional, it allows you to relax knowing the smooth running of your big day is in the best hands.
