Can we get married at the Wedding Barn?

Yes. Our Ceremony Room and Pavilion are both licensed for wedding ceremonies. For a legal ceremony you can book a registrar with Staffordshire Registration Service. There is more info on their website here.

What dates are the barns available for our wedding day?

We keep a live calendar so you can see exactly when we are available for your wedding day. To take a look please click here.

Do you charge corkage?

Yes, we charge £5.50 per day guest aged 18 or over should you want to bring your own wine and toast drink for the wedding breakfast. This charge is to cover the cost of chilling and serving the wine, use of the glassware and recycling the bottles. Please note the corkage option does not include the reception drinks.

Do we get exclusive use of the venue?

Absolutely yes! Exclusive use begins from one hour before your ceremony through to midnight, however you may have access to get ready and set up earlier. This is about your big day and no-one else’s – however you decide to celebrate.

Is there parking? Can we leave cars overnight?

Free parking is available but please encourage your guests to consider the use of car sharing as space can be limited if all guests drive separately. You are welcome to leave a car with us overnight but we ask all cars be removed by 10 am the next day.

What are the accommodation options?

We have a bridal preparation room on site available for use in the morning through to the wedding breakfast. For overnight accommodation at the barns we have a selection of pods that sleep between 2 & 4 people, you can see more information here.  There are also several excellent hotels very close by including a Hilton less than five minutes drive away. For more information please see our local accommodation page.

Are pets welcome on site?

Any well behaved pet is welcome with us, after all for some it wouldn’t be a wedding day without a four legged friend in attendance.

What are the disabled facilities like?

We are disability and pram friendly with wheelchair access to all barns and surrounding grounds and disabled toilet facilities.

How do we pay for the venue hire?

The venue hire is split into two stages. 50% is paid as a date reservation fee when you book and the other 50% of the balance is due 6 weeks before your wedding day.

When you book you have a choice as to how you pay your 50% date reservation fee. It can be paid all at once or split into 3 roughly equal monthly payments.

For example, if the venue hire if £5,500 the date reservation fee is £2,750 and the balance due 6 weeks before your wedding day is £2,750. If you decide to split the date reservation fee into 3 payments, the first payment will be £950 when you book, £950 on the same day a month later and then £850 the month after that.

Payment may be made by bank transfer.

Do your prices include VAT?

Yes, all our prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable. You can see more information on our prices here.

Does the venue hire include tables and chairs?

Yes, the venue hire includes the tables and chairs you will need for the day as well as a dedicated wedding coordinator and bar staff. We have a mix of circular dining tables, oblong “top” tables and rustic farmhouse tables for your wedding cake and other items you wish to display as well as our resident drinks cart ‘Geraldine’!

Your Wedding Day
