With the foundations laid we have had a busy few days getting ready for the next major project – the new roof on the portal frame barns. This has meant getting a few things in place:
Damp proofing laid and ready for the……
concrete to be poured!
With the concrete dried and beautifully smooth, the scaffolding goes up and……
the new block begins.
Also, after the “attack of the duckweed” the lake is refilling nicely. We nearly have our island back!
This sets us up for the roof removal and leads us on to the renovations of the older barns which are on schedule to begin early next year.
